AUTOMV Instructor Auto

Privacy Policy

Updated for GDPR compliance · Bucharest

AUTOMV Instructor Auto (Mihaela Vișan) respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.

This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, who we may share it with and what rights you have.

1. Data controller

The controller is Mihaela Vișan — AUTOMV Instructor Auto, Bucharest, Str. Bârnova nr. 12, Sector 5.

  • Phone / WhatsApp: 0764.355.789
  • Email: instructor.automv@gmail.com

For any personal-data request (including exercising your GDPR rights), you can contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

2. How you interact with us

The website is informational. Driving lessons / training appointments are made exclusively by email (instructor.automv@gmail.com), phone or WhatsApp — not by creating a public account on the site and not through an online booking form.

Data you send us on these channels (or that we collect when you browse the site) is processed under this policy.

3. What data we process

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • identification data: first and last name;
  • contact data: phone number, email address, WhatsApp identifier;
  • appointment / training data: licence category, preferred time slots, session type, messages and notes sent by email / phone / WhatsApp;
  • communication data: the content of messages you send us (email, WhatsApp, phone);
  • reviews, if you submit them and we publish them after approval (name, rating, message);
  • minimal technical data when visiting the site: IP address, browser / device type, security logs, essential cookies and local storage (see the Cookie Policy);
  • language preference (RO/EN) stored in the site session.

We do not require a public account to book appointments. Any internal site-administration tools are reserved for the controller and are not part of student enrolment.

4. Purposes of processing

  • responding to your requests and organising appointments (email, phone, WhatsApp);
  • confirmations, rescheduling and operational communications related to training;
  • providing theory / practical training services when an individual relationship is agreed;
  • improving the informational website content and keeping the site secure;
  • publishing reviews, only after approval;
  • complying with applicable legal obligations (including accounting / record-keeping where required).

5. Legal bases

  • pre-contractual steps / performance of a contract — when you contact us to book or when we provide training;
  • legitimate interest — website security, abuse prevention, operational messages about your sessions;
  • consent — where required (e.g. optional cookies, certain marketing messages, if any);
  • legal obligations — when the law requires us to keep or disclose certain data.

6. Recipients

We do not sell personal data. Access is limited to the controller and, where applicable, infrastructure providers acting as processors (e.g. hosting, email, databases), under appropriate safeguards. Data may be disclosed to public authorities when required by law.

When you write to us on WhatsApp or email (Gmail), messages also pass through those platforms (Meta / Google) under their own policies. Please avoid sending sensitive data that is not needed for booking.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

In principle, data is processed in the European Union / European Economic Area. If a provider (e.g. email or messaging services) involves transfers outside the EEA, those transfers take place only with GDPR-compliant safeguards (standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms).

8. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the stated purposes:

  • appointment messages / correspondence — for the period needed to organise sessions and a reasonable time afterwards for follow-up and rights defence;
  • data related to the training relationship — during that relationship and afterwards for applicable legal periods;
  • technical data / logs — for short periods needed for security;
  • cookies — according to the durations in the Cookie Policy.

9. Your rights

You have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where applicable), objection, withdrawal of consent (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing) and complaint to ANSPDCP (the Romanian Data Protection Authority).

To exercise your rights, email instructor.automv@gmail.com or contact us at 0764.355.789 (phone / WhatsApp). We will respond within the time limits set by law.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data (access control, secure connections on the site, limiting who can access information). No internet transmission is 100% risk-free; please use secure channels and do not send passwords or unnecessary data.

11. Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies on the site are described in the Cookie Policy. Strictly necessary cookies enable basic operation (e.g. session, language, form security). Optional cookies run only with your consent.

12. Minors

Driving-licence training generally concerns persons who meet the legal age for the relevant category. If you are a parent / guardian contacting us on behalf of a minor, data is processed to organise training in line with applicable law.

13. Updates

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The version published on the site, with the date below, applies.
